NZZ set out to rethink their annual report, and we helped them do just that. The result is a publication that delivers clarity and a distinct point of view.

The common thread

Evocative questions, grounded in NZZ's core values, lead readers through the report. Together with the visual language, theyform a coherent framework that focuses on a different topic each year.

Designing for clarity

Generous image sequences deliberately offset the density of the content. These are complemented by a dedicated photo series featuring the Chairwoman and the CEO. The report has been completely redesigned to include ample white space, clear typography, and a minimalist layout, making the content easy to grasp at a glance.
