PLANSCHER

Planscher, the First Swiss Open-air Wine Festival

Planscher is an open-air wine festival. The very first of its kind in Switzerland. It's not just a tiny-sip-tasting, but a glass-half-full festival. An actual party: with live music and barbecue and a summery vibe, at a relaxed urban venue. It aims to make people discover Swiss wine in a laid-back atmosphere. Especially those who don't know much about it (yet).

The name Planscher pays homage to the ancient Swiss white wine variety, the logotype is playful, dynamic and completely unique. It feels fun and lively, like a whole party contained in a short word. It's the kind of festive levity and lightheartedness the whole festival wants to convey.

Of course, we didn't come up with Planscher ourselves. It's the brainchild of nine seriously passionate experts from all over the Swiss wine industry. But it does feel a bit like our baby, too. At least since we led the naming process last fall (or, rather, since we let ourselves be led by the wines we were tasting at the same time). Since then, we've designed the brand, developed a website and created motion graphics. All with the goal of creating the most inviting web presence possible. So please consider yourself officially invited:

On September 03 - 04, 2021
at Areal Binz & Kunz in Zurich.

Sergeant understands what makes us tick incredibly well. They immediately knew where we wanted to go with the brand. That sort of thing is really hard to find.
