RONAL GROUP

A well-rounded solution for the wheel manufacturer

The RONAL GROUP's wheels are primarily made of aluminum; a material that requires a lot of energy to process, yet is well suited for recycling. That is why the company made circular economy  the main topic of their new sustainability report.

Three parts, six stories, one report

The RONAL GROUP has been investing in its company-wide sustainability program for years.  Yet the new sustainability report is the first to be made publicly available. In close collaboration with the sustainability experts at RONAL GROUP, we designed and implemented the digital report. We divided it into three chapters.  In the first, we present goals and fields of action in a series of infographics. The third section contains facts and figures, presented according to the GRI standard. But the middle section is the heart of the report. It includes six stories plucked from the world of the RONAL GROUP; from employees in Mexico who apply the circular economy approach in their everyday lives to the presentation of the very first CO2-neutral wheel.

Animations, videos and a dark mode

The complete report is available as a PDF on susreport.ronalgroup.com, a microsite designed to adapt the stories to the online experience. To us, that also means motion and interaction. We embedded video content, animated key visuals, goals and action fields, and created an alternative dark mode.

A blueprint for a better future

White lines on a dark blue surface: That is a combination we know from traditional blueprints. We have reinterpreted the idea to create illustrations in the digital report. They are sleek and modern, embedded in a layout with lots of white space, generous typography and a newly introduced, fresh green hue. Together, all these elements underscore the company's intention to break new ground in the area of sustainability. For the RONAL GROUP, the future is a circle. And it's just getting rolling.
