Room for careers at GVZ

The Building Insurance of the Canton of Zurich (GVZ) protects the favorite spaces of people living in Zurich. Besides being an attractive employer, the company  fulfills an important mission. To better communicate these messages, GVZ developed an employer branding campaign and a new career website.

For over 200 years, GVZ has insured buildings in the Canton of Zurich against fire and natural hazards. It employs nearly 300 people in various positions. To generate awareness and position itself as an attractive employer, the company launched an employer branding campaign.and created a new career website. The message is as straightforward as it is personal: GVZ insures your favorite spaces. The website showcases the many unusual spaces that GVZ insures in the canton of Zurich. The claim: "Protect what is dear to you." The campaign was created by Rod Kommunikation. Sergeant designed and developed the corresponding career website.

Many roads lead to the GVZ

From lawyers to lightning protection supervisors, from natural scientists to appraisers: GVZ has openings for a whole range of professions - some of them quite unexpected. The career website presents all of these professions in detail. And shows photos of people who actually work in these jobs. So that users see the faces behind the job titles. A separate page is targeted to apprentices. There, future trainees can learn everything about the apprenticeship and the application process.

Building Dreams and Open Positions

Single and multi-family houses, schools, production buildings and economy buildings: Almost 300,000 buildings are currently insured with GVZ. No building is the same, and residents have an emotional attachment to each object. Dreams come true in these spaces. A special module on the new site portrays a selection of these spaces, from the farmhouse to the Circle at Zurich Airport.

Of course, the open positions are presented on the career website as well. This module was developed and implemented in cooperation with Solique.
